Michelle Pacilio, MPT, WCS
Clinical Director
Board-Certified Women’s Health Clinical Specialist
Michelle’s dedication to helping others led her to pursue a career in Physical Therapy, earning her Master’s Degree from Chapman University in 2002. Over the years, she has gained extensive experience across various clinical settings, including neuro rehab, home health, inpatient care, and outpatient orthopedics. Since 2008, she has focused on Pelvic Floor Dysfunction, becoming Kauai’s most experienced therapist in treating incontinence, pelvic pain, colorectal issues, and pelvic girdle dysfunction in both men and women.
In 2021, Michelle reached two major milestones: she became a Board-Certified Women’s Health Specialist and opened Wahine Wellness & Pelvic Health, Kauai’s first women’s-only clinic. She believes women require specialized care that evolves throughout their lives and is committed to providing personalized treatment plans that address their unique needs.

Katie Kershner, PTA
Pelvic Health Specialist
Katie grew up in the heart of midwest Kansas. She attended Kansas State University receiving her Bachelors of Science in Kinesiology and earned her Associates Degree as a Physical Therapist Assistant from Washburn University. Before moving to Kauai in 2017, Katie was able to work at an outpatient clinic treating multiple populations and diagnosis including pediatrics, vestibular, neuro, orthopedic and pelvic health. These experiences developed her passion and professional development towards women's health. Once on island, she has worked in clinical settings focusing on orthopedics, neuro rehab, and skilled nursing facilities but is most excited to call Wahine Wellness home. Katie enjoys educating women on the human body and continuously expanding her own knowledge in the pelvic health field. She believes in treating the whole person as an individual in order to help them get real results. Katie is excited to be part of an organization that focuses on educating and treating women in all aspects of their life.
In her spare time, Katie enjoys spending time with her husband, son and daughter; exploring what Kauai has to offer with hiking and beach time. She also enjoys baking, music, and being active in any way she can. -
