We are blessed here in Kauai to have wonderful medical resources for women. Here are some of the great resources we have on island.

  • Kauai is blessed with not one, but two hospitals with excellent OBGYN teams.

    We also regularly work with Primary Care Physicians, Physician Assistants, Urologists, Urogynecologists, Gynecologic oncologists and GI specialists.

  • Nurse Midwives/Nurse Practitioners receive advanced training and education in women's health, including gynecology, prenatal care, and primary care. They also learn about nursing, midwifery, medicine, the sciences: Kauai is lucky to have two clinics specializing in this area.

    • Hua Moon: a Kappa based women's health and nurse Midwife team,

    • Kauai Women's Health: Lihue based Nurse practitioner who specializes in women's health issues.

  • Both Wilcox and KVMH have great lactation specialists. In addition, there are independent lactation specialists on island.
